Jaeger-LeCoultre is certainly going all out for the 85th anniversary of its famed Reverso watch, making it the star at this year’s SIHH watch fair as well as premiering a special atelier for those who would like to customise their Reversos.

There were many special tribute editions as well, like with the René Magritte series and most recently, the special collaboration series with celebrated shoe designer Christian Louboutin.

Aside from the initial announcement, not much has been revealed about the model, leaving many fans of the watch brand and designer alike giddy with anticipation. Well, the wait is finally over as the official film has been released.

Starring actress and social entrepreneur Elisa Sednaoui, the film cleverly reveals the unexpected facets of the Reverso by Christian Louboutin, showing how it matches the independent and fast-paced life of Sednaoui.

It is as stylish as she is, as multi-faceted as her range of talents and with just a swivel, keeps up with her daily activities and just as many outfits. Louboutin himself makes an appearance, to slickly swap the case of the Reverso Scarababe worn by Sednaoui.

Watch the film to discover the true delight of the Reverso by Christian Louboutin.

Available in two sizes, the Reverso by Christian Louboutin retains its emblematic face on the front with pure, classical Art Deco lines, while the back, framed by two rows of diamonds on either side of the dial, displays the quirky Louboutin influence.

In design, there are 3 options: One is adorned with an iridescent dial and strap inspired by the scarab beetle, another is fitted with a transparent plastic strap that makes a perfect match with the mirror-style back dial, while a third model features a textured white mother-of-pearl dial, teamed with a strap subtly hinting at the imprint of the iconic Louboutin shoes.

They are available for only a period of a year as part of the Atelier Reverso concept in Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques.
