Resorts World Genting is celebrating the Thai New Year with lots of delicious Thai food.

It may not be the scene you would expect for the Thai New Year, but Resorts World Genting is at least ensuring that Songkran on the mountain will taste right.

From now until April 16, for lunch and dinner, the buffet spread at Coffee Terrace at Genting Grand will feature all the recognisable Thai staples from Pad Thai to Tod Mun to the (must-have) Tom Yum.

Two menus will be rotated across the 10 days but neither will disappoint lovers of Thai food. Look out for their green and red curry, Thai Fish Cake, Thai Pandan Chicken, Green Papaya Salad, and the popular Thai Mango Salad.

For more meatier fare, diners can try the Beef Mutsamun Curry, Stir-fried Lamb Slice with Garlic & Pepper, Thai Fried Curry Crab, Roasted Duck Curry, and Thai Otak Otak Seafood. Of course no Thai spread would be complete without Pineapple Fried Rice and Shrimp Paste Fried Rice.

To end your meal on a sweet not, be sure to try the Mango & Sticky Rice, Water Chestnuts in Coconut Milk, and Thai Tapioca Pudding.

For weekday dinners, from 5pm to 9.30pm, the buffet is priced at RM84 for adults and RM42 for children, while weekends are priced at RM88 for adults and RM44 for children.
