For those who didn't know, the Invictus Games was founded in 2014 by Prince Harry himself. It is an international sporting event that caters specifically to servicemen and women who have been injured or have an illness. The word "invictus" itself means "unconquered", and its namesake event was brought about after the Duke of Sussex saw firsthand how sports can help those suffering from illness or injury.

In June 2023, the sixth installation of the Invictus Games will be held in Düsseldorf.

5/5 Countries around the world are included

The Invictus Games isn't just open to European countries. Players from Afghanistan, Australia, Canada, Iraq, Estonia, and New Zealand have all been welcomed. According to the Invictus Games Foundation, new participating nations are selected according to certain criteria.
