Enjoyed by tens of thousands of Francophiles since its inception in 2001, Le French Festival 2020 will see special screenings of new French films in four Malaysian cities: Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru & Kota Kinabalu

Proudly presented by Martell and pieced together by Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur, Le French Festival 2020 is the longest-running foreign arts festival in Malaysia (19 years and counting). In addition to fine art exhibitions, live music, circus acts, and food and wine pairings, Le French Festival will feature 17 French films (with English subtitles) in a wide range of genres, from animation to comedy and drama to suspense, at Golden Screen Cinemas.

Frédéric Laplanche, ambassador of France in Malaysia, attended this year's media launch with a solemn yet hopeful message:

At a time where we are experiencing health scares and political complications, it is important to turn to art more than ever.
