My interpretation is that it can refer to choosing what’s real, concrete, and authentic— be it making friends or deciding on important life choices.I was recently blessed to have made a few close friends. Despite our diverse backgrounds, we connected and we like how straightforward, genuine and compassionate our friendship has evolved.

How do you feel when you wear beautiful jewellery?

I feel humbled. One does not wear jewellery to feel important but to celebrate a piece of art that one is privileged to wear.

It was trekking to Everest Base Camp - and actually getting there. It was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding.

It was the chance to start my own F&B business in 2015. Four years on, I am still running Ate Cetera at Hartamas Shopping Centre, and I’m loving every minute of it.

When I go for gold, I aspire to achieve the best for myself. This is something I stand by to ensure I also deliver the best when pursuing something I believe in.

Going for something bigger, aiming higher and doing your best in everything you do. In business and in life, it really takes sweat, determination and guts to achieve your dreams. It has always been my life-long dream to have my own business and I am happy to make it a reality.

I think jewellery is a bit like spice. Add too much and it overpowers the woman. Sprinkle just enough and it complements what’s already there. It reflects who the woman is and how she achieves her goals in life.
