The winning combination of gold, diamonds and black velvet brings the camellia to life in Chanel's Extrait De Camélia watch
Chanel's Première watch collection is inspired by the octagonal design of the Place Vendôme, a symbol of luxury and timelessness that the French luxury brand embodies. The latest addition to the collection, Extrait de Camélia, brings a floral twist to the classic design with sculpted camellia flower charms.
The camellia flower is a classic emblem that has been part of the Chanel journey since its founder Gabrielle Chanel first pinned the white bloom on a chiffon dress in the early 1920s. Representing strength, elegance and refinement, the camellia has been luxuriously reincarnated in 18k gold with diamonds in Extrait de Camélia.

Fastened to a black strap of decadent velvet with a gold ardillon buckle, both versions of the Extrait de Camélia watch evoke expensive elegance.
Simple and sophisticated, the black-dial version of the watch sets a single brilliant-cut diamond in the middle of the camellia charm dangling off the crown. Chanel also offers an opportunity to steal the show with its jewelled version of the Extrait de Camélia which sets 116 brilliant-cut diamonds on the dial with a glittering pavé diamond camellia charm.
Only 1,000 pieces of Extrait de Camélia are available around the world.
